It's that time of year again for Mouse to clean out her house! So I'll be bringing you some releases from my personal collection this week including this one!
I purchased this one in England from one of the sweetest dealer friends. Aquamarine is my late grandparents' birthstone but I was able to find one with aquas and rubies to represent both of my grandmas so I've been reaching for that one more. Sad to let this one go though with the versatile stickability (I love stackable bands) and the gorgeous icy blue color - so fun to wear in the winter as well as the pastel seasons!
Hallmarks were lost in a sizing but sold to me as 15k from a reputable dealer.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It is a size 6 1/4. It weighs 1.65grams.
The ring face is 8mm north south at the widest.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Shank is a bit thin and blunt from age and wear as well as the ball rivets when you rub your finger across the ring face but that is just how it was made, I did not find it uncomfortable to wear. One of the smallest end stones has circular shards of loss in two spots but it still appears complete and oval in the setting, as well as being the smallest and furthest to the end so it is not glaring but something to seek out in pics to determine if it would be bothersome to you - it was not to me! : )
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
