GARLAND Figural Old Mine Rose Cut DIAMOND Antique Stick Pin c1920 for Ring Pendant Bracelet Conversion 18k White Gold Silver

A fun figural antique stick pin set with old mine and rose cut diamonds in the sweetest garland design with a wonderful antique sparkle. The awesome original patina to the piece gives it a great antique look and lets the diamonds really pop, especially the two larger old mine cuts.

This one would be an amazing ring or pendant conversion, bracelet charm, etc. I didn't convert it in case someone would prefer to wear it as a pin, and if converted, I wanted to leave it to the buyer to work with their jeweler as to how, since it could have a loop added at the top to hang from a chain, or have two loops added to be worn east to west, or built into a bracelet chain, etc. Just to give you ideas, I showed some pics of how it would look as ring, a pendant or around the wrist (just ignore the pin post which would be removed when you work with your jeweler to design the piece.)

Being a pin that was very gently worn, it is in as excellent condition as can be found for an antique piece which is another thing that makes it a great conversion option.

Found in Sweden, with full hallmarks for 18k, date stamp 1920, with known maker Karelfelt & Co of Stockholm, which is where I purchased it.

Antique boxes, chains, props in photos is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

The garland face is 13x11mm.

The largest old mine cut diamonds are about 2.5mm each, the rest smaller.
It measures 70mm long and weighs 2 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

As mentioned plenty of patina, this could be polished up easily to appear more white gold but most of my buyers prefer original patina. Typical antique diamonds with some frosty spots, hues and natural inclusions as expected for the period but they are small so nothing glaring. Some ripples to the pin post.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
