Victorian Antique Ribbed Box Chain Faceted Marquise Spacers Dog Clip Fob Pendant Holder Necklace Rose & Yellow 9k Gold Solid 18k Clasp
ABOUT:
The perfect piece for your neckmess or neckstack as it has two tone gold with beautiful rich antique patina, and a dog clip at the bottom to easily swap out your pendants. You can also clip it to itself with an extender to wear as a multi chain bracelet or choker.
This was probably a watch chain, definitely dating from the Victorian period, it has ribbed cable chain links that crate a box chain shape in warm yellow gold. For added decoration, there are faceted marquise shaped links on each side of the dog clip and in the middle for a shimmering design element.
The piece is crafted in 9k gold, stamped with an antique 9CT with a maker's mark on the dog clip, the elongated lobster clasp at the back is a replacement and is actually stamped with the French mark for 18k gold.
I just love the patina.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 8 grams. It is just under 20 1/2 inches. The box chain gauge is 2.7mm
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
No real damage, no dents or ripples. Some antique patina that could be cleaned up further if desired but most of my buyers prefer original patina. It has a rich and warm glow. In sturdy wearable condition.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
