Vintage 14k GOLD Charm Pendant HOLDER Clip Clasp Opening Bale Safety Clasp Neckmess Neckstack Parts Findings
ABOUT:
Another uncommon part or finding - this sturdy bale opens to serve as a pendant holder with a hinged back and safety hook. It has a little loop on top for connecting to a chain or split ring and then you can open it to swap in and out pendants and charms. Vintage piece with a ribbed detail, it looks like a bale until you study it closer and see that it opens. Useful little thing knowing it will latch closed on any special pendant.
Stamped 14k.
Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
MEASUREMENTS:
The piece measures 14.5mm long by 4mm wide. It's 7.5mm deep. It weighs just 1.15g
Chain in photos is not included.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Still perfectly wearable. Closes securely. Note the small loop, would likely need a split ring or jump ring added to put on a chain. Also notice that due to depth it may want to spin to the side when hanging at the center of a chain. Would be cute in a neckmess or on a longer chain where it can rotate freely.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
